- Read data — a tool ran and returned rows. The answer is grounded in the campaign.
- Read failed — a tool ran and the datastore refused. The error names the
cause, usually an unset connection string or a database with no
GRANT SELECT. - No read — nothing was fetched, so the reply was written from the page summary alone. It reads as confident and is not grounded in anything. Either the turn was genuinely conversational, or the tools are unpublished or their upstream is missing.
- A turn is matched to its read by subject and time, because sessions live in Redis and carry no database key to join on. Reads more than two minutes after a question are not attributed to it.
